The
All-Weather Kit permits the installation of any MICAD Monitor in the out of
doors - unprotected from the elements,
The monitor frame is stainless steel. The monitor is sealed to at least IP67,
protecting it from rain, salt spray, and similar moisture. It is protected from
wind, and the included mounting system provides for weather proof electrical
connections.
The kit permits the addition ( not supplied ) of 3/4" NPT Steel pipe as a
stanchion, at any length. Cables supplied are ten feet in length and will feed
through a 3/4" pipe.
Note: While the kit provides excellent protection from rain and water spray,
excessive wind loading on the monitor can damage, or ruin, or destroy the
monitor, by damaging the front touch screen, or providing such violent force as
to cause the stainless steel case to rupture.
